Y-KIDS Club
After School, Out-of-School and Summer Care for School Age Kids
YMCA Kids Club is a quality alternative to babysitting or leaving your child at home unattended when school is out of session. Y-KIDS Club provides loving care for your K-5th grade student.
Y-KIDS Club provides a structured environment that builds spirit through socialization and interaction with peers: builds minds by encouraging academic achievement with study time and tutoring; and builds bodies by giving the children ample time to play organized games or freely in the gym or on the playground.
Daily activities vary and nutritious snacks are provided for each child.

School Year Program
Locations:
Washington School: Students attending Washington & Roosevelt Elementary Schools will participate at the Washington site. Roosevelt students ride USD 418 buses with Y-KIDS staff to Washington.
Eisenhower School: Students attending Eisenhower & Lincoln Elementary Schools will participate at the Eisenhower site. Lincoln students ride USD 418 buses with Y-KIDS staff to Eisenhower.
Full Days: All full days, including Winter, Spring and Summer breaks, when offered, take place at the McPherson Family YMCA.
Early Dismissal Days: On all early dismissal days, including the first and last days of school, children participate at their regular Y-KIDS Club site.
10-11 School Year Dates: August 17, 2010 - May 24, 2010
School Year Hours: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
School Year Fees: Member - $27 a week/child; $15 Full Day/child

FINANCIAL AID:
No child will be turned away due to the inability to pay.
McPherson Family YMCA endeavors to serve individuals of all economic levels.
Every effort will be made to develop support for those who cannot afford weekly childcare fees.
Applications for financial aid are available at the YMCA front desk or here.
Y-KIDS Club can accept SRS applicants. Talk to your case worker about enrolling your child.

Registration Packet: Parents may pick up a registration packet by contacting Program Director, Alana Murphy. Contact Alana by phone at 620-241-0363 or by email at alanamurphy@ymca-mrc.com.
Registration Fee: A one time $10.00/child non-refundable registration fee is required with all applications.

Summer Full Day Program
Locations:
YMCA: Our summer program runs out of the McPherson Family YMCA at 220 North Walnut.
Being at the Y allows our program access to all the great things available to youth in our facility.
Field Trips: Our summer program has weekly field trips to local attractions including picnics in the park, the library and visiting the McPherson Water Park. Off-site field trips are of additonal cost to the parent based on the admission fees. Fees must be paid prior to participation.
Summer Dates: May 25, 2011 - August 17, 2011
